I’m a Tunisian HR consultant, and I write under the pen name Alma Kelis.
Books have always been a big part of my life, with a special fondness for historical romance and Regency England. I like to say I went from HR to HR, from Human Resources to Historical Romance, a joke that tends to make my fellow consultants smile.
Today, I hope to make writing my full-time career.
In my novels, I write determined, imperfect, deeply human heroines who set out to shape their own destinies in spite of what their era expects of them.
A Brewery, a Will & a Wedding is the first book in my series Wildflowers of the Ton, which follows four young women with unconventional dreams in 1808 England: Sophia runs a brewery, Eliza dreams of becoming an author, Lorie draws caricatures, and Ava has a knack for solving mysteries. All four share the same determination to live the life they have chosen.
I write for readers who crave big emotions, strong heroines, found family, true friendships, and heroes who love a woman exactly as she is.
